The Hunger Games Tribute was envisioned by Chloe and Shelly in the spring of 2009 and debuted on Webs.com in July 2009. Webs.com setup was limited, so THGT moved to Wordpress and launched there in February 2010. While The Hunger Games trilogy gained popularity, so did The Hunger Games Tribute. During 2010, an average on 10,000 readers would visit every month. But, in January 2011 THGT's servers were hacked, erasing all content. Finally, in May of 2011 we relaunched using Blogger.
